The Vervet Monkey Foundation is a vegan non-profit internationally accredited Vervet monkey sanctuary and rehabilitation center. founded in 1989. It is situated on 56 acres of land in the Limpopo province of South Africa and is home to over 550 Vervet Monkeys. The VMF is run by its original founder Dave Du Toit and Josie Du Toit. But it is funded and staffed entirely by volunteers. Last year the VMF received 26 Orphans and that number continues to grow as each year passes.
